Special Thanks to All the Volunteer Trailbuilders!!
On March 25, 2011 a special event was held on the Trail. Everyone involved with the Henry County Parks wishes to send a large heartfelt "thanks" to all the volunteers who contributed their time and efforts to the cause!! Pettisville Local Schools sent 125 students in grade 7 throught 12 along with 13 teachers and one student teacher from BGSU. Two Buckeye Trail people brought the trailer of tools and helped. About six local Buckeye Trail volunteers were able to also help and supervise the work. They assembled at 9:30 AM and left after 2:30 PM. Much progress was made towards clearing another section of the trail. Linking up to the trail at Providence Dam is closer now, thanks to this great effort!
